Today’s reminder was about consistency especially in Ramadan, but also throughout the year.
Islam is not about setting unrealistic targets that we cannot sustain.
When we start too high, we often burn out and fall midway.
Increase gradually:
- Like a marathon runner who builds up pace over time.
- Like a weightlifter who slowly increases the weights.
Small, consistent deeds are better than big bursts that don’t last.
Islam teaches moderation while ensuring our responsibilities to family, work, and daily obligations are fulfilled properly.
Build steadily. Stay balanced. Be consistent.
May Allah grant us istiqāmah (steadfastness) and accept from us.
